Dan Carmody, a seasoned real estate professional with over two decades of experience, brings a wealth of knowledge and dedication to the real estate industry. Serving as the President of the Martin County Realtors of the Treasure Coast in 2022-2023, Dan’s leadership and expertise have made a significant impact on the local real estate community.
Dan embarked on his real estate journey in 2003, initially specializing in Commercial Real Estate. In 2005, he made a strategic transition into Residential Real Estate. Prior to his real estate career, Dan enjoyed a distinguished decade-long tenure as an Environmental Consultant, primarily in the Orlando and Tampa regions. His responsibilities took him across Florida and the Southeast, where he developed a keen understanding of the environmental landscape and its impact on real estate.
Raised in Martin County, Dan’s decision to return to his roots was a natural one. The Carmody Family boasts a storied 50-plus year history in the area, making the transition back seamless and reinforcing his dedication to the local community.
Dan’s contributions to Martin County extend beyond real estate. He previously served as President of the Business Development Board of Martin County from 2015 to 2017 and assumed the role of Chairman of the Economic Council of Martin County in 2016. His civic engagement further includes volunteering on various local government boards, including the Value Adjustment Board and the Impact Fee Review Committee. Additionally, he has lent his expertise to the Grievance Committee for the Martin County Realtors of the Treasure Coast and was the creator of Santa’s City Lights, an annual event featuring lighted Christmas Trees decorated by local Realtors.
Educated at St. Joseph’s School in Stuart, Martin County High School, and the University of Florida, Dan has a strong educational foundation that complements his professional achievements.
Beyond his professional commitments, Dan is passionate about golf and following his beloved Florida Gators. He shares his life with his lovely wife, Ricki, and is a proud father of two sons, Jack and Aidan. They call Palm City, Florida, their cherished home, where they continue to contribute to the fabric of this vibrant community.
